Ten Day Bourbon Earns Platinum Medal at 2025 ASCOT Awards
Lexington, KY – May 21, 2025 – Ten Day Bourbon is proud to announce that its Single Barrel High Rye has been awarded a prestigious Platinum Medal at the 2025 American Spirits Council of Tasters (ASCOT) Awards.
The ASCOT Awards, founded by spirits personality and veteran tasting judge Fred Minnick, consists of a blind tasting format and rigorous evaluation process. Entries are judged based on a series of criteria relating to appearance, aroma, taste, and finish. Ten Day Bourbon’s Single Barrel High Rye is distilled and aged for six years in the heart of Kentucky. With a mash bill of 51% corn, 45% rye, and 4% malted barley, this bourbon is bottled at 100 proof. Common tasting notes include sweet citrus candy flavors, followed by light black pepper and spice notes in the finish, making it an enjoyable choice for sipping neat or in cocktails.
Winning a Platinum Medal places Ten Day Bourbon in an exclusive group of distilleries whose products have been identified as world-class by ASCOT’s esteemed panel of judges and spirits experts. The ASCOT Awards are recognized industry-wide for highlighting the very best in spirits – receiving this distinction signals the brand’s superior quality, complexity, and consistency.
